Membership
There is a one off joining fee of £30 and the yearly subscription fee from 2009 will be £85 and runs from 1st April to the 31st March, and provides bowling for twelve month of the year. Combined with its large free parking area, it is probably one of the cheapest private bowls clubs to belong to in West Sussex. We do however appreciate that in the current economic climate, some new or existing members may like to avail themselves of our easy payment option, particulars of which can be obtained from the Membership Secretary. The yearly subscription covers the cost of all bowling, no green fees are made for roll-ups or social bowling and members can play for as long and as often as they wish. A charge is made for members playing in all home matches, this being £2 to £2.50 dependent on the type of catering required. This covers the cost of their own and also their opponents refreshments.
If for some reason members have allowed their membership to lapse for any period of time, they can if they wish, rejoin the club on payment of the normal subscription, plus a rejoining fee of £5.
All members are given the security numbers of the gate and clubhouse. Apart from times when organised events are taking place members are free to bowl at any time and for as long as they wish.
